Workshop on Unconscious Bias
As part of the GS-EES's Professional Skills Training, a workshop focusing on Unconscious Bias was recently held in Ulm. The programm included topics from Evolving Awareness: our braing and biases in the academic context to What Helps: theory and strategies to Finding a Personal Strategy: overcoming mental blocks and barriers.
„I liked best, that the unconscious bias workshop gave a very interesting insight into the design of an unbiased hiring process. Considering the point of view of HR personnel will surely improve ones own job applications", one of the attendees said following the workshop.
