Around 900 million people worldwide have no access to electricity. In sub-Saharan Africa in particular, many people are cut off from the electricity grid. In this episode, we talk to Fabian Weber, who, together with his company, BOS AG, develops and installs energy storage systems that, among other things, electrify off-grid African villages or facilities by combining battery storage systems, photovoltaic systems and diesel generators.
