CELEST Showcases Hydrogen Research at EHEC 2026 in Seville

CELEST - Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage | Ulm & Karlsruhe participated in the European Hydrogen Energy Conference 2026, joining leading voices from across the global hydrogen sector in Seville from 11–13 March.

As part of the joint “Hydrogen Länd” booth powered by e-mobil BW GmbH, CELEST presented its latest advances in battery and hydrogen research, highlighting how integrated energy storage solutions are driving the transition toward a sustainable energy system.

The conference brought together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and accelerate innovation in hydrogen technologies. At booth 62, Dr. Stephan Hensel, Manager of the platform and Dr. Ludwig Jörissen from the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW), Research Field 3 representative, engaged with visitors and partners from across the international hydrogen community.

Following a successful presence at the event, CELEST reported productive discussions and new connections established during the exhibition. In addition to numerous one-on-one meetings, the team also presented its work in a pitch session, opening direct exchange with companies and networks from Japan and the Andalusian region.
