CELEST member Prof. Dr. Hölzle receives “Ulmer Köpfchen”

The "Ulmer Köpfchen" honors people whose work makes a special contribution to society. This year, one of the awardees is CELEST member Prof. Dr. Markus Hölzle, member of the ZSW Board of Directors and Head of the Electrochemical Energy Technologies division in Ulm. Prof. Hölzle has brought many millions in research funds to Ulm and made Ulm a globally recognized research location for these fields. He also advises the federal government and state government on energy issues. He has also played a key role in ensuring that the Ulm-Heidenheim area is connected to the planned hydrogen highway. This is the pipeline that will transport hydrogen from the seaports in the north across Germany to Munich and then on to Eastern Europe.
