CELEST member Prof. Jürgen Janek receives Heinrich Hertz Prize

Congratulations to Prof. Dr. Jürgen Janek from the Justus Liebig University Giessen for being awarded with the Heinrich Hertz Prize 2025! Prof. Janek is also Scientific Director of the BASF/Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) joint laboratory “BELLA” in Karlsruhe and PI in POLiS – Cluster of Excellence, where he will also be designated speaker in the second funding period. He is also one of the “Highly Cited Researchers” for several years in a row, making him one of the most internationally influential minds in science for many years.
